the mystery note

So a few weeks back, I asked people to vote on what I should write on a note to be left on a stranger's car.
Overwhelmingly, the winner was;

"I'm sorry but I had to leave my mother in your trunk, I'll be back later to get her".

My pal Nathan and I went out and put the note on an unfamiliar Honda.
We had so much fun, that we decided to do the same to my boss' M5.
(as a side note, I found out later that my boss was actually quite freaked out, not because of the note, but because he thought he had a ticket).

Lau Nau

Has anyone heard the new Lau Nau record?
I've been trying to work, but I can't because this album is too good not to pay attention to.
It's fucking incredible.

According to her website;

“The music, compared to reading literature, is a book with the leaves spread in the order of a tree. You get a three-dimensional picture, like nature's sounds from a human soul.”

I thought that made for a really cool image.

Lau Nau

New Images

The new section of my website was graciously updated yesterday by JerBot.

The name is deceptive, because nothing that I'm working on now is up there, it's more like these are the B-Sides and Rarities of 2007.

This, for example, is an unused image of Bright Light Fever I did for the cover of Alive & Kicking.

Coffee & Pigment III

I was going to call this one "Coffee & Pig Mint" but uhh, I don't know if that's a good idea.

So the Coffee & Pigment series is going to be a real show, and it's looking like it's going to be at Temple in the beginning of next year (February, I think).

My fingers are broken (literally) so I think this is the only painting I'll be doing for a few weeks. Also, there are paintings in the works with the following piments (pig mints) that you haven't seen yet
