Richard St.Ofle
Richard St.Ofle is a writer, filmmaker, and professor of film, chasing—and being chased by—story.
Drawn to the flicker of the projector and the quiet power of language, he studied Rhetoric and Film at UC Berkeley, graduating with highest honors. At USC, he earned his MFA in Writing for Film and Television before entering the machinery of Hollywood, where he built work that lives between structure and rupture.
He has worked on the FOX series Bones, and continues to develop original film and television projects that interrogate power & history.
His work as an educator is rooted in the belief that storytelling is both craft and confrontation.
He lives between academia and the unknown—making, questioning, and returning, again and again, to the page.
